Lego Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga will be released in the spring of 2021. Publisher Warner Bros. and developer TT Games are announcing that in a new gameplay trailer. The game features recognizable moments from nine Star Wars movies.

Earlier this year, it looked like Lego Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga would release in October, but now it’s clear that won’t be the case. There is no exact release date yet, but according to the trailer, the game should be available in the spring of next year.

In the gameplay trailer, creators show how in-game players will reenact various scenes from the nine films of the Skywalker Saga. The Lego game will be released for Windows, the Xbox One and Xbox Series X, the PlayStation 4 and 5, and a Nintendo Switch version will be released.

The new Lego Star Wars game offers more freedom than previous installments in the series. The game will have an open world structure in which players can freely explore the environments from the different films. There are ‘hundreds’ of characters from the movies in the game. The makers also promise a more advanced combat system, with a combo system for hand combat.
