iOS 14.2.1 is out, but only for the iPhone 12
Apple has released an update exclusively for the iPhone 12. It is iOS 14.2.1: this update solves some problems.

iOS 14.2.1 is a relatively minor update – very different from iOS 14.2, which appeared two weeks ago. There are no new functions, but Apple does help to avoid some bugs. Here’s what they say about it in the release notes:
iOS 14.2.1 fixes the following issues for your iPhone:
- Some MMS messages may not be received
- Made for iPhone hearing aids could have problems with sound quality when listening to audio from iPhone
- It was possible that the lock screen on the iPhone 12 mini became unresponsive
Download iOS 14.2.1
As mentioned, iOS 14.2.1 is only available for the iPhone 12. You will not see the update on other iPhone models. Do you have an iPhone 12? You can install it via “Settings> General> Software update”. Make sure you are on a Wi-Fi network and that your battery is sufficiently charged or that your iPhone is connected to the power.
