Intel introduces Core m3-7Y32 processor
Intel has added a new processor of the Kaby Lake generation to its range. The Core m3-7Y32 has a higher clock speed than the Core m3-7Y30 and is slightly slower than the Core i5-7Y54.
The Core m3-7Y32 is not yet in Intel’s processor price list, but the company has already included it in its database. It is a dual core produced at 14nm with support for HyperThreading. The chip is intended for laptops, 2-in-1 systems and tablets with long battery life; the tdp is 4.5W.
The clock speed is standard 1.1GHz with a maximum Turbo frequency of 3GHz. This means that the model runs 100MHz as standard and 400MHz faster than the Core m3-7Y30 with Turbo. The price for both processors is $281, which makes it likely that the Core m3-7Y30 will be phased out. The speed of the Core m3-7Y32 is close to that of the Core i5-7Y54, which clocks at 1.2GHz with Turbo at 3.2GHz.
