Image shows smartphone HTC with amoled screen
An image has appeared online of the HTC One A9 in various color combinations. HTC has not yet announced the device, but it would be a mid-range device with a 5 “AMOLED screen and fingerprint scanner.
HTC is preparing the release of the A9 in six colors, according to the image that smartphone ‘nice’ EvLeaks online put. It seems to be a metal design as the manufacturer has been using in many of its One phones for several years, but the design differs slightly from recent devices such as the One M8 and One M9. For example, there is no prominent place on the front for the speakers.
A fingerprint scanner is visible on the front, something that the manufacturer previously applied to its One M9 Plus. HTC withdrew the device from the market when customers complained about limited 4G range.
The One A9 would be equipped with an AMOLED screen with a diagonal of 5 “and a resolution of 1920×1080 pixels. It would be the first time that HTC uses an AMOLED screen since the release of the first Desire from 2010. The A9 runs according to EvLeaks on a Snapdragon 617, a polished Snapdragon 615 that has been found in midrange devices for some time. The working memory would have a size of 2 GB, the storage 16 GB. The phone should be released in November. A price is not yet known and HTC has not yet planned an event to showcase the device.
