The chairman of the phone branch of Huawei announced in an interview during the CES that the P10 and P10 Plus should be released this spring. The phones are said to have 5.2″ and 5.5″ screens and dual cameras.

The Chinese website MyDrivers interviewed Yu Chengdong during CES. Besides that the phone will be released in the spring, he also says that the devices will be equipped with support for Google Daydream and Amazon Alexa and that they will have similar smart functions as the previously announced Honor Magic. The smart features include automatic locking when the phone is put in a pocket and making the flashlight more accessible when it’s dark.

MyDrivers goes on to say that the P10 is rumored to have a 5.2″ screen and the P10 Plus a 5.5″ model that is curved on the sides, like Samsung’s Edge screens. Furthermore, the devices would have a Kirin 965 processor, which is similar to the 960, but runs at a higher clock speed.

The phones would also have at least 4GB of ram and, just like the predecessors, have a double Leica camera. They would also support fast charging with 40 watts. Other rumors speak of a small screen that would display information about wireless signals, the battery and the time. This may mean a part of the OLED screen that remains on all the time.
