Google will close Helpouts service on April 20

Google has announced that it will discontinue its Helpouts service on April 20. It allowed users to give help and ask for help in all sorts of things. According to Google, the service is not popular enough, so the plug has to be pulled.

The news was posted by Google on the Helpouts website. According to the internet giant, the service is used by a number of fanatics, but in the end not enough users have come to keep Helpouts up and running. That is why the emergency service will be discontinued on April 20. Users can download their data until November 1.

Helpouts was launched in November 2013 and can be used by internet users for online help in different categories. It is possible to ask for help via Helpouts, but it is also possible to offer help yourself. This is also possible for a fee. Last year, Google added the ability to ask a digital doctor for help on Helpouts.
