Google is giving the Pixel 7 phones the option to use two e-SIMs with dual standby, instead of a single e-SIM and a physical SIM. The feature will be added with the March Feature Drop.

With this, the phones can now offer full dual sim with dual standby without a physical sim card, says Google. The manufacturer adds that the feature only works in certain countries and with certain carriers, but does not provide details about which countries and which carriers it is.

The feature is part of the Feature Drop, an upgrade Google makes for its phones every quarter. With the March version, the Pixel 6 phones get the ability to take photos faster with Night Sight. That would be thanks to algorithms from the Google Tensor soc in those phones.

Users of all Pixel phones can now see details from timers on other devices on their lock screen. That synchronization takes place via the Google account. If timers are running on smart speakers from Google, for example, they will appear on the lock screen from now on.
