Gigabyte has announced a new laptop for gamers. The Saber 15 is a model with a 15.6″ screen, which the manufacturer supplies with either a GTX 1050 or a GTX 1050 Ti. The laptop is equipped with three video outputs.

The manufacturer supplies the Saber 15 with an Intel Core i7-7700HQ and a GeForce GTX 1050 Ti with 4GB DDR5 or a GTX 1050 with 2GB GDDR5. The laptop can accommodate a maximum of 32GB DDR4. The screen is matte and shows 1920×1080 pixels.

The ssd is a pci-e 3.0 x4 variant with m2 form factor. Gigabyte supplies these in different variants, with a maximum storage capacity of 1TB. In addition, the laptop can contain a hard drive with a maximum storage capacity of 2TB, for a total storage amount of 3TB. The model has HDMI and two mini display ports; USB-C is also available.

The keyboard is backlit and consists of scissor-type keys with a travel of 2mm. Gigabyte already showed the laptop at CES and the company announced Laptopmag that it will be released in April for a starting price of less than $1000. In the past, many Gigabyte laptops did not come to the Benelux, but this was the case with last year’s Aero 14, for example, so that this is not excluded with the Saber 15.
