The Game Bakers, the developer who released the action game Furi in 2016, is working on a new game called Haven. The game is about two lovers who have escaped to a lost planet and have to stay together there. The game will be released in 2020.

According to The Game Bakers, Haven is an adventure game with RPG elements and it can certainly not be regarded as a direct successor to Furi, even though the visual style of the new game seems to be somewhat similar to that game.

Haven can be played alone, but is primarily intended for co-op. Based on a few screenshots, exploring the world seems to play a not insignificant role. Also, there is probably a menu system for fighting.

The developer says the game has been in the works for two years and more details will be released soon. The story is about two lovers who must stay together on a lost planet. According to the creator, the game is about ‘love, resistance against rulers and food’.

The game’s Steam page states that Haven is due out sometime in 2020. The game will be available for PC and consoles. That probably means not just the Xbox One and PlayStation 4, but the Switch as well, as Furi came out for Nintendo’s handheld console as well.
