Fractal Design has announced the Define C TG and Define Mini C TG. They are the manufacturer’s first enclosures with a tempered glass window. There is sound-absorbing material on the inside.

The cabinets are based on the existing Define C and Define Mini C. Fractal Design already has Window variants of these cabinets in its range, but they have a window made of plastic. With the TG variants, this is tempered glass, or toughened glass.

The Define Mini C TG model is intended for builds based on a mini-itx or micro-atx motherboard. Although the case is made for small motherboards, there are five expansion slots so that, for example, sli or crossfire setups of video cards can be used. There are five positions for a fan and space to fit a 280mm radiator.

The larger Define C TG can accommodate a full ATX motherboard and has seven expansion slots. There is space for a radiator of up to 360mm and up to seven fans can be placed. Both cabinets have room for a CPU cooler up to 172mm high, GPUs up to 315mm long and power supplies up to 175mm long.

According to Tom’s Hardware, the large model costs $95 and the small version $90. Converted with VAT, that is respectively 97 and 92 euros. That is about 15 euros more expensive than the existing Window models.
