Download Firmware Teac CD-W540E

RawPeanut wrote to us that on the site of Teac a firmware update is available for the CD-W540E. This update for the 40X/12X/48X drive improves compatibility with CD-R media. This was, according to some users, a minor niggle with this drive, hopefully this will be resolved:

F/W 1.0A/B -> 1.0C >

Some of CD-R media write performance is to be improved

This program updates the firmware revision from 1.0A/B to 1.0C.

Note that this program cannot be used for the CD-W540E with a firmware revision other than 1.0A/B.
