The developers of Syabas Technology have released new firmware for the Popcorn Hour C-200. This so-called Networked Media Tank can play audio and video from the optional hard disk, but the device can also be used without a hard disk. Content can then be streamed from a NAS system or computer. Updating the firmware can be done by extracting the zip file to the root of a USB memory stick and then browsing to the file ‘usbupdate.html’ from the menu. You can exchange experiences about this player in this topic on GoT. Version 02-04-110422-21-POP-408-000 doesn’t add any new features, but has been released to fix quite a few issues.

• German translation changes
• Fixed crash when click on GPL link in “open source license” screen
• Fixed “moving up/PageUp from webservices with multiple pages generates an error” (Bug #5001534)
• Fixed certain Audio CD ripping failed, due to special character in filename (Bug #5002061)
• Added manual setting of YCbCr colorspace (BT.601 and BT.709). Auto color space is under development.
