Download Firmware Philips SNB6500 2.00

Philips has released a new firmware with 2.00 as the version number for its SNB6500 products with black plastic Ethernet ports. Unfortunately, the version with metal Ethernet ports cannot use this update. Philips has a small instructions (pdf) available that guides you step by step through the update process. The SNB6500 is referred to as Wireless Base Station and TrueTurbo Router which can cause a little confusion. However, the device is a compact router with 4 Ethernet ports and 802.11b/g capabilities, with which you can set up a local network and connect it to your broadband modem.
