WinSnap is a program for the Windows 2000/XP/Vista platform that allows you to take and edit screenshots. Of course you can also use the PrintScreen button in combination with Microsoft Paint, but then you miss quite a few functionalities, according to the developers of WinSnap. For example, their program supports rounded corners that are frequently used in various XP/Vista graphic themes, changing backgrounds and adding shadow effects. Recently version 2.0.6 is available and includes the following list of changes since the previous entry in the muck tracker:

Version 2.0.6:

• Included new translations: Latvian, Norwegian (25+ now).
• Region capture: Improved compatibility with MS Outlook 2007.
• Fixed some issues with modal dialogs on different versions of Windows Vista.

• Included new translations: Bulgarian, Chinese, Czech, Portuguese, Spanish.
• Improved Windows Vista compatibility.
