Firmware Update: Onkyo TX-NRx1x / TX-NRx2x / TX-NRx010 08/28/2013

Onkyo has released new firmware for a large number of TX-NR series AV receivers, namely TX-NR414, TX-NR515, TX-NR616, TX-NR717, TX-NR818, TX-NR525, TX-NR626, TX-NR727, TX-NR828, TX-NR929, TX-NR1010, TX-NR3010 and TX-NR5010. The update has a different version number per model and in any case improves the image quality when 4K up-scaling is used. For some models there are also other improvements, details can be found on the download pages. Onkyo has found that updating the firmware via a direct Internet connection fails under certain circumstances and therefore recommends updating via a USB stick.
