Firmware update: Nikon Df 1.02

Spread the love

Nikon has released new firmware for its Df-digital single-lens reflex camera. The update, which updates the C firmware, is available for macOS and Windows. The Df is a professional digital SLR camera with an fx-format cmos image sensor with 16.2 megapixels. It can be used with a wide range of interchangeable lenses with a Nikon F mount with AF coupling and AF contacts. The list of changes in this release is as follows:

Changes from “C” Firmware Version 1.01 to 1.02

  • Added the following support for AF-P lenses:
    • If the standby timer expires after focusing, the focus position will no longer be changed when the timer is reactivated.
    • When focus is adjusted by rotating the lens focus ring, the focus indicator in the viewfinder (and in live view, the focus point in the monitor) will now blink to indicate when infinity or the shortest focus position has been reached.
  • The following issues have been resolved:
    • When pictures were taken using Camera Control Pro 2 after Custom Setting d10 (Exposure delay mode) was enabled in the CUSTOM SETTING MENU, the software sometimes erroneously displayed a message stating that no picture could be taken.
    • Optimal exposure was sometimes not obtained in photographs taken in live view using an electromagnetically-controlled aperture lens (Type E lenses).
