Firmware Update: iRiver iHP-100 V1.16
A new firmware has just been released for the iRiver iHP-100 multimedia jukebox. The most important new feature is the added Ogg Vorbis support. In version 1.16, the list of changes looks like this:
Added Features:
- Support Ogg Vorbis format Ogg Vorbis file format support up to 500Kbps, providing a better sound quality than most commonly used file format, MP3. The Ogg Vorbis supports bit rates of 32Kbps~500Kbps, 44.1kHz.
Improved Features:
- Improved the Display when changing from MP3 to FM mode
Fixed Bugs:
- Backlight is set to “ADAPTER Always ON(60)” while running the player through batteries, the backlight did not automatically turned on when the adapter was connected.
- The next song would play without the sound after searching within the song through (FF/RW).
- Fixed the bug of infinite searching period when the Auto Scan is selected on a poor reception place.
- When the player is reset, it is corrected to play the next song when the player is turned back on.
