Firmware Update: HTC Touch Diamond2 2.16 WM6.5

HTC has for its Touch Diamond2-mobiles released a new rom with 2.16 as the version number. This update ships with Windows Mobile 6.5. HTC’s brief announcement looks like this:

ROM upgrade

An updated ROM is now available for HTC Touch Diamond2 users to download. As always, HTC is committed to providing customers with the best possible mobile experience.

Improved Functions and Fixes:

• Operating System upgrade from Windows Mobile 6.1 to Windows Mobile 6.5.

Please note that this upgrade will erase any data stored on the device. Once you proceed with the upgrade, the system can not be downgraded again.
