Download Firmware EPoX EP-8KHA+
abwouters sent us the link to the EPox site, where you can download a new BIOS for the EPoX EP-8KHA+ motherboard. EPoX didn’t stick to a few small rules, but brought us these extensive release notes:
- NOTE: After flashing this BIOS you may be required to CLEAR the CMOS using CMOS clear jumper. Refer to user’s manual for more details.
- Fixed system hang if CPU ratio is set to 14, 15.
- Set the maximum clock up to 200Mhz.
- Added 5 bit FID CPU support.
- Fixed Windows XP OS install failure with ASUS v8200 AGP card.
- Averaged all available IRQ for PCI devices because system may hang during verify DMI if one IRQ collects a device number greater than 5.
- une up 8TCX2+ Host Clock from 99.9 to 100.64Mhz.
- Fixed CMOS checksum error when changing JCLK1 jumper setting.
- Set DDR SDRAM CAS latency to 2.5 if 3 DIMMs installed.
- Change AGP driving for AGP 4X in KT266A CE Version.
- Added “MP Capable bit identify” in the BIOS to detect Athlon MP processor names correctly. †
