Download Firmware Eminent EM7080 hdMEDIA RT 1.0.6.1

Eminent has released a new stable firmware for the EM7080 hdMEDIA RT media player on Friday. On the GoT, experiences and opinions about this device can be shared in this topic. To install the firmware, a button on the bottom of the player has to be pressed. This release includes a new audio module that makes it possible to use separate settings for each codec. To install the firmware:

Note: The button at the bottom is present on the circuit board and can be reached by turning the media player over. The button is visible at the top left of the cooling grille.

Release notes:

** Version 1.0.5.x and above MUST be flashed using the button at the bottom, otherwise the player will not boot and will remain on Loading.. **
** If it stays on loading, please flash again with the button on the bottom. **

• New audio module: audio-per-codec settings possible again.
• Menu option to switch between subtitle or playback function with arrow keys.
