Draytek has for her VigorSwitch P2280xP2121P2100P1280P1085G2280xG2121G2100G1280 and G1085switches released new firmware. Depending on the model, these layer-2 managed switches have either 8 or 24 Gigabit Ethernet ports, with four Combo UTP/SFP Gigabit ports or two or four SFP(+) Gigabit ports. The P models also add PoE+ to this. The firmware version number has landed at 2.6.7 and here are the changes:

Version 2.6.7 – New Features

  • Support a new encryption mechanism for license obtaining, network connecting, and registering to the MyVigor server.

Version 2.6.6 – Improvement

  • Improved: Adjust router’s self-signed certificate to comply with new browser restrictions. Start on 2020-09-01, many client OSes/browsers will enforce publicly trusted TLS server certificate lifetime to 398 days or less, and connections will be rejected if the certificates violated this rule, so this firmware patch will automatically re-sign all the self-signed certificates lifetime to 395 days (was 2 years or longer in older versions).
  • Improved: Support to display statistics/counters information for each port on Status.
  • Improved: Support to change the port number for HTTP management on System Maintenance>>Access Manager.

Version 2.6.2 – Improvement

  • Improved: Support per port setting for Loop Prevention.
  • Improved: Add a switch panel for displaying the port connection on VLAN Management>> Interface Settings.
  • Corrected: An issue of compatibility between TR-069 and VigorACS.
