Firmware Update: Draytek VigorSwitch G/P 2280/1280 2.4.0

Draytek has for his VigorSwitch P1280† P2280† G1280– and G2280switches released new firmware. These layer-2 managed switches all have 24 Gigabit Ethernet ports and four Combo UTP/SFP Gigabit ports. The P models also add PoE+ to this. The firmware version number has landed at 2.4.0 and here are the changes:

New Features

• Add Product Registration.
• Add Mail Alert and Syslog Mail.
• Add Loop Protection.
• Add IP conflict prevent feature.
• Add Enforce HTTPS Management. However, the default value to login VigorSwitch is still HTTP.
• Support DrayTek tools, Firmware Upgrade Utility v3.6.8.

Improvement

• Corrected: The function of “Daylight Saving” did not work.
