Firmware Update: Canon EOS 1D Mark II 1.2.2

Finally, the third firmware update Canon has released today is for the EOS 1D Mark II. The version number of this firmware is 1.2.2 and is also available for Windows and Mac OS X. Update instructions and the firmware itself can be found at this page are being found. Download is only possible after entering the serial number of the camera. This firmware update includes the following additional functions and improvements:

• When pressing the DISPLAY button immediately after shooting, the LCD monitor would turn completely white, the camera would hang, and the images in the buffer memory would be lost. Countermeasures for this issue have been incorporated into this update.
• Errata in the German and Russian language displays have been corrected.
