Firmware Update: Canon EOS 1Ds Mark II 1.1.2

Canon has released new firmware for its EOS-1Ds Mark II. The update, which has been assigned number 1.1.2, is available for both the Windows and Mac OS X platforms. The downloads can be at the bottom this page are being found. It is also necessary that you have the serial number of the camera to hand. The changelog for this release looks like this:

This firmware update includes the following additional functions and improvements:

• When pressing the DISPLAY button immediately after shooting, the LCD monitor would turn completely white, the camera would hang, and the images in the buffer memory would be lost. Countermeasures for this issue have been incorporated into this update.
• Errata in the German and Russian language displays have been corrected.
