During the presentation of EA’s quarterly results, the company confirmed that new Titanfall, Mass Effect and Battlefield will be released during fiscal year 2017. It also became clear that Star Wars Battlefront was an important game with 13 million sales.

The company talked about the arrival of a new Battlefield from developer Dice. The game should hit shelves before Christmas. A release window for Respawn’s new Titanfall game and for BioWare’s Mass Effect: Andromeda was also announced. Both games should be available before April 2017. The company does not provide an exact date, but it does reduce the possible period to the second half of fiscal year 2017. By this, the group refers to the period from October 2016 to March 2017.

EA’s quarterly revenue rose from $1.126 billion in the year-ago quarter to $1.07 billion this year. That is a decrease in turnover of 56 million dollars, converted approximately 51 million euros. EA posted a quarterly loss of $45 million. An important part of the turnover comes from Star Wars Battlefront, of which 13 million copies have been sold. Need for Speed’s sales also contributed strongly to revenue, according to EA.
