Dropbox is working on its own password manager Passwords

Dropbox is working on Dropbox Passwords, a password manager that should securely store passwords and sync them between devices. For now, the admin is only available to invited users.

According to the Google Play Store description, Dropbox Passwords is in private beta and only available to “some” Dropbox users. The administrator stores the user’s passwords and can autofill them in websites and apps. In the administrator, users can see a list of accounts that have a password associated with them. This data is automatically synchronized between devices. Passwords are protected with zero-knowledge encryption.

The Android app can be downloaded by anyone. However, when signing in with an uninvited account, users are shown that Dropbox Passwords is not yet available to them, according to Android Police. It’s not clear when Dropbox plans to expand the password manager further and how users can access it now. In addition to the Google Play Store listing, Dropbox itself has not made admin information available.
