Driver Update: nVidia nForce4 SLI Intel 7.15

The nForce driver package consists of a number of drivers for the various components associated with the nForce chipset. For example, the package includes drivers for the Ethernet controller, I/O hardware and sound card. nVidia developers have prepared a new set of drivers with 7.15 as the version number for the nForce4 SLI Intel Edition motherboards in combination with Microsoft Windows 2000, XP or XP x64. The release notes look like this:

Installation Notes:

• Windows XP users must install Service Pack 1, at a minimum, prior to attempting to install this package. Failure to do so will result in the inability to support USB 2.0.
• Installation of DirectX 9.0 or higher is required in order to use NVMixe.

Release Notes:

• General compatibility fixes for nForce4 SLI Intel Edition motherboards.
