Death Stranding release for iOS and Mac has been pushed back to ‘early 2024’

The iOS and Mac versions of the open world game Death Stranding will be released ‘early 2024’. Initially, the ports were expected to be released this year, although developer Kojima Productions and publisher 505 Games did not mention a specific date.

The release has been postponed to next year because Kojima Productions needs ‘a little more time’ to finish the versions, writes 505 Games. The publisher promises to provide more details soon. On the Mac App Store page of Death Stranding It states that the game is ‘expected’ to be released on January 31, 2024.

The iOS and Mac versions of Death Stranding were announced in September. No release date was announced at the time, but it was said that the ports would be released this year. Death Stranding was first released on November 8, 2019 for the PlayStation 4. In the following years, the game was also released for the PlayStation 5 and Windows. Last year, protagonist Norman Reedus announced that a sequel to the game was being made. Developer Hideo Kojima recently announced that a Death Stranding movie is in the works.
