Cyberpunk 2077 expansion Phantom Liberty will be released in September

CD Projekt RED releases Cyberpunk 2077 expansion Phantom Liberty on September 26. The expansion will have a new storyline. The DLC will be released for PC, PS5 and Xbox Series X and S. Phantom Liberty will not be available for last-gen consoles.

Cyberpunk 2077: Phantom Liberty once again revolves around protagonist V, writes developer CD Projekt RED. In Phantom Liberty, players must rescue the President of the United States after her shuttle is shot down over Dogtown, “Night City’s deadliest district.” CD Projekt RED calls it a ‘spy thriller’. Johnny Silverhand, played by Keanu Reeves, returns in the expansion and actor Idris Elba also has a role. The latter plays a sleeper agent, Solomon Reed.

In addition to a new storyline, Phantom Liberty also gets new quests and gigs, weapons, vehicles, tech, cyberware and weapons. A new Relic skill tree will also appear with new abilities. The expansion will be released at the end of September and will cost 30 euros.
