Cooler Master will bring a fully passively cooled power supply with a power of 1100W to the CES, the trade fair that will take place in Las Vegas early next year. The manufacturer is the first to exceed the 1000W limit for this type of power supply.

Until now, 700W was the maximum power for passively cooled power supplies. To cool a power supply with such a high power without a fan, Cooler Master uses its housing as a huge aluminum heatsink, including a copper baseplate and even four heat pipes. In addition to the 1100W power supply, the manufacturer will also launch a cheaper 850W model. As the name suggests, the Guarantee.

In addition, Cooler Master is working on the X Mighty Platinum, an 80Plus Platinum power supply with a power of 2000W and two 12Vhpwr cables. This power supply can also be read digitally, but unlike the X Silent Edge Platinum, this power supply has a fan that is controlled semi-passively. What has remained is the remarkably long warranty period of fifteen years.

Furthermore, the manufacturer will also show a digitally readable X Silent Max Platinum 1300W power supply at CES and release the new V Platinum V2 series. These are power supplies of 1100, 1300 and 1600W with a Mobius fan, of which the model with the highest power has a second 12Vhpwr connector for connecting an extra video card. These power supplies have a twelve-year warranty.

Finally, Cooler Master is bringing white variants of the existing GX III Gold, V SFX Platinum and V SFX Gold ATX 3.0 series to the fair. Details on availability and pricing will be announced there.
