Cooler Master Announces 2016 Case Mod World Series Winners

Cooler Master has announced the winners of its Case Mod World Series 2016 contest. A total of eight case modders will be awarded. An extensive worklog of all case mods can be viewed in which the modders describe how they work.

Competition participants had since January to create their casemod. In the end, 120 worklogs were published and 82 casemodders were able to complete their submission. A jury has decided among which creatives the prizes worth 30,000 dollars will be distributed. Tweaker l3p, known for his l3p desk, was part of the jury. It was also possible to vote; according to the organization 21,000 votes were cast.

In the Scratch Build category, where case modders can start from scratch, Crow from Thailand took first prize with his Ghost Rider. The second prize went to Masbuskado from the Dominican Republic, with his creation Re.born. The Serb Nenad Milic received the third prize for his Gsw Cyborg.

In the Tower Mod category, which requires the use of an existing housing, ภควัตไชยบุญมา from Thailand took first prize with his entry Master of Dimension. Silver went to David Cathey from the US who converted a Cooler Master Elite 130 into an insect. Bronze was won by neSSa from Serbia, with its case mod titled Master X5.

According to the public, the most beautiful Scratch Build is the TriHexa 666 – Apocalypse Dragon by Kanishka Akalanka from Sri Lanka. Brazilian Allyson Carneiro received the most votes for his Tower Mod ‘Pandora Box Pegasus’.
