Feral Interactive will release an iPad version of Company of Heroes in the fall. The real-time strategy game was released for PC in 2006. The version for Apple tablets will not get multiplayer mode.

Publisher Feral Interactive shows a short teaser trailer of the iPad version, but there are no gameplay images. The strategy game is set in Europe during the invasion of Normandy. The game was originally released for PC in 2006 and was developed by Relic Entertainment. The port for the iPad is made by Feral Interactive.

The original game consists of a single player campaign and a multiplayer mode. The latter is not included in the iOS version. Feral Interactive confirms that in a tweetafter someone asked. At launch, the game will only work on iPads; an update may follow later to make the game suitable for iPhones as well. This happened, for example, with the iOS version of Tropico, which was also released by Feral Interactive. The arrival of an Android version is not excluded, but there are no details yet.

It is not yet known when the iPad version of Company of Heroes will be released and what it will cost. The game is likely to be sold for a fixed amount, without microtransactions. That’s also the case with other games that Feral Interactive has brought to iOS and Android. The PC version is currently on sale on Steam for $13.
