BlackBerry puts Dtek60 smartphone specifications online
BlackBerry itself has revealed the specifications of an Android device with the type designation Dtek60. It is a smartphone with a 5.5 “screen and Qualcomm Snapdragon 820. The same specifications were assigned to a device codenamed Argon in previous rumors.
According to the BlackBerry page, the Dtek60 has a 5.5″ screen with a resolution of 2560×1440 pixels. The manufacturer combines the Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 with 4GB ram and 32GB flash memory. There is also a USB-C connection and a battery with a capacity of 3000mAh The camera is a 21-megapixel model and the front camera is an 8-megapixel variant, BlackBerry also mentions the presence of a fingerprint reader and a convenience key.
The page is online at BlackBerry under the name Argon, a code name that was associated with a smartphone with similar specifications in previous rumors. The text ‘donotpublish’ in the url indicates that the product page was not yet intended to be online. Pictures of the device are not on the page.
In July, BlackBerry put early information online about the Dtek50, or Neon, online, a smartphone that in some design and features matched the Alcatel Idol 4. The specifications of the Dtek60 match those of the Alcatel Idol 4s and those of an upcoming Windows 10 Mobile device, the Alcatel Idol 4 Pro.
