Xiaomi’s Black Shark phone with gamepad will be available in the Benelux from Friday. The device with 6GB ram and 64GB flash storage costs 499 euros. A version with 8GB of ram and 128GB of storage costs 549 euros.

Xiaomi sells the Black Shark smartphone in its own web store. The device with Snapdragon 845-soc is aimed at gamers. With all versions, the manufacturer provides a gamepad that can be clicked into the bottom of the device and is equipped with an analog thumbstick.

To celebrate the release in Europe, the brand temporarily gives a discount of 30 euros, so that the 6GB variant costs 469 euros and the 8GB version is sold for 519. It is not known until when this discount will apply.

The version that will be released in Europe is the phone that was released in Asia in April this year. The device has a 6″ LCD with a resolution of 2160×1080 pixels and a 4000mAh battery. In October, Xiaomi announced the Black Shark Helo, an improved version with OLED screen and 10GB ram. That version is not yet available in Europe.
