Developer BioWare has revealed the contents of Kasumi: Stolen Memories, the first downloadable content pack for Mass Effect 2. The pack adds a new character and mission to the game.

The content pack is the first pack that all Mass Effect II players must pay for. The pack adds the new playable character Kasumi to Mass Effect II. The news bulletins circulating in the game have so far only talked about her; however, after downloading the DLC, the human thief can be added to Commander Shepard’s team. That reported Computer and Video Games Friday.

Like every other character in Shepard’s crew, Kasumi has a mission of his own. The thief must steal a special item from a safe, where Shepard and Kasumi must infiltrate a house party to get to the safe. Kasumi can also be used in the rest of the game, such as in the final mission of Mass Effect II. Electronic Arts has not yet disclosed how much the package will cost. It is clear that the content can be downloaded from April 6.
