Asus has released the VivoBook S14. The laptop has a 14 “screen and comes with a maximum of an i7 processor and a GeForce MX350 GPU. The prices of the configurations run from 699 to 999 euros.
The VivoBook S14 is a laptop with a screen with a resolution of 1920×1080 pixels and a ratio of 16: 9. The screen is matte, has viewing angles of 178 degrees, can display 45 percent of the NTSC color space and has a maximum brightness of 250cd / m². Asus speaks of ‘ips-level’ with regard to the panels. The screen-to-body ratio is 85 percent. The laptop weighs 1.4 kilograms and is 15.9 mm thick.
The laptop comes in configurations with eight and sixteen gigabytes of memory, and with a Core i5-10210U, i7-10510U and i7-1065G7 from Intel, processors of the Comet Lake U generation. The i5-10210U and the i7-10510 have clock speeds of 1.6 and 1.8 GHz respectively and an integrated HD Graphics 620 GPU. The versions with i7-1065G7 have more powerful Iris Plus Graphics from Intel, but in addition a GeForce MX350 card from Nvidia. The VivoBook comes with an m2 NVME SSD with PCI-E 3.0 of 256GB or 512GB.
The laptops also have WiFi 6, or 802.1ax, and Bluetooth 5, an HDMI 1.4 connection and four USB ports, including one USB-C port, which is a gen 1 variant of USB 3.2. The 50Wh battery can be charged to 60 percent in 49 minutes, according to Asus. The cheapest model of the laptop costs 699 euros, the most expensive variants cost 999 euros.
