Ubisoft has announced details of the Season Pass for Assassin’s Creed Valhalla. The game will receive two add-ons after release for a fee. There will also be free extras, including a Discovery Tour, to help you explore the game without a fight.

In the spring of 2021, Wrath of the Druids will be released, an expansion set in Ireland. In it, players must unravel the secrets behind an ancient cult of druids. The expansion is devoted to Gallic myths and folklore and the Irish landscape.

The second expansion is called The Siege of Paris and will follow in the summer. This DLC revolves around the attack on Paris, or ‘the most ambitious Viking battle ever’, according to Ubisoft. Players must infiltrate the city and take over the Seine to secure the future of Eivor’s clan.

Season Pass buyers will also gain access to an exclusive mission entitled The Legend of Beowulf. In this mission, players will discover “the gruesome truth behind the legend of Beowulf,” according to Ubisoft. The mission can be played immediately when the game is released.

Ubisoft is selling the Season Pass separately, but the expansions are already included in the Gold, Ultimate, and Collector’s editions of the game. Assassin’s Creed Valhalla will be released on November 10th. The PlayStation 5 version will follow on November 19. The game is also part of Ubisoft’s UPLAY + subscription.

In addition to paid dlc, Assassin’s Creed Valhalla also gets free updates after release. Ubisoft talks about ‘new buildings for your settlement and different game modes’. The game will also get a Discovery Tour sometime next year. It is intended as an educational mode, to explore the game without fighting.

Ubisoft also provides the game with ‘seasonal’ content for free. A season lasts three months and, according to the publisher, revolves around ‘gameplay and world development for all players’. The first season starts in December.
