ASRock will demonstrate two mini-ITX motherboards for AMD’s AM5 platform during Gamescom. The motherboards are compatible with the Ryzen 7000 series CPUs. The brand does not yet share a concrete price or release date.

According to the brand, the B650I Lightning WiFi will be a cheaper alternative to the B650E PG-ITX and supports Wi-Fi 6E, LAN speeds up to 2.5Gbit/s and USB-C 3.2 Gen2. There is room for two dimms. Thanks to the B650 chipset, the motherboard contains an M.2 slot for a PCIe 5.0 SSD.

The ASRock A620I Lightning WiFi based on the A620 chipset has largely the same functionality, except for the M.2 connection standard. This motherboard supports a maximum of a PCIe 4.0 SSD. The A620I does not support overclocking, the B650I does.

Both motherboards support DDR5 memory and of course Socket AM5 CPUs, or the Ryzen 7000 series processors. There is a heatsink and an I/O shield on both models shown at Gamescom.
