AMD has announced two embedded Ryzen processors in its R1000 series. The AMD Ryzen Embedded R1102G and R1305G have TDPs of 6 and a maximum of 10 watts respectively and can be used for, for example, mini PCs.

The R1102G and R1305G are both dual cores, but only the R1305G supports multithreading. Both processors have a Vega 3 GPU. The processors are less powerful than the two previously announced R1000 chips, the Ryzen Embedded R1505G and the R1606G, but the TDPs are also lower.

AMD is also reporting new products based on its open platform for mini PCs with the embedded processors. For example, Sapphire has new 4×4 motherboards with the processors, the BP-FP5 and NP-FP5. Simply NUC makes several mini PCs with those motherboards: the Post Oak and Red Oak models. Furthermore, SECO and OnLogic are making compact PCs available with the chips.
