Yeelight makes smart bulbs compatible with Apple HomeKit

Yeelight makes its Smart LED bulbs and LED strip compatible with Apple HomeKit. The Chinese manufacturer has released a firmware update for this. Users can update their lamps via the corresponding apps.

Yeelight reports the arrival of HomeKit support on Twitter and has put a page with explanations on his site. The necessary firmware update can be installed via the Yeelight app and via the Mi Home or Xiaomi Home apps.

Three products will receive HomeKit support. It concerns the Smart LED lamp in RGB version and its white variant, and the Yeelight Aurora Lightstrip Plus. The HomeKit support makes it possible to control the lamps with Siri from an iOS device.
