The latest addition to the Yakuza series will be released in Europe and the United States with a one-month delay. Yakuza 6: The Song Of Life won’t be released until April 17 right now, but a demo version will be released this month.

The developer of the game announced this in a message sent via Twitter is scattered. The April 17 release date means a delay of about a month. The developer calls that a difficult decision, but an exact reason for the delay was not disclosed; the extra month gives more time to get things ready for release.

As a compensation, a demo version of Yakuza 6 will be released at the end of this month, on February 27, This means that part of the game can already be played, and in addition, the progress in the demo version can be carried over to the full version of the game as soon as this one comes true.

Yakuza 6 was released in Japan in December. The Song Of Life is the seventh installment in the Yakuza series, and revolves around main character Kazuma Kiryu. The game is available for the PlayStation 4.
