Xiaomi announces smartwatch Xiaomi Watch S1

Xiaomi has announced a new smartwatch. The S1 Smartwatch is currently only available in China. The smartwatch has a 1.43″ screen, a stainless steel housing and is available in three colors.

Xiaomi’s smartwatch was announced during a company presentation in China. According to Gizmochina, the Xiaomi Watch S1 has only been announced for the Chinese market. The smartwatch will cost 1100 yuan there, which is converted about 153 euros. The version with a leather strap costs 100 yuan more, which translates into a total price of about 167 euros.

The Xiaomi Watch S1 has a 470mAh battery, which should be good for a battery life of 12 days. Furthermore, the smartwatch has a 5ATM rating, which makes the watch water resistant to a depth of 50 meters.

During the presentation of Xiaomi, the manufacturer also announced the new 12 series of its smartphones. It concerns three new devices: the Xiaomi 12, 12 Pro and 12X. The devices have only been announced for the Chinese market, but it is expected that they will also appear in Europe later.
