Microsoft mentions Lockhart in release notes of the Microsoft Game Development Kit. This is rumored to be a console that can be considered a second Xbox Series console, such as an Xbox Series S.

The June 2020 release of the Microsoft Game Development Kit includes two console modes for the Scarlett Dev Kit: AnacondaProfiling and LockhartProfiling. That reveals Twitter user TitleOS. Scarlett is the project name that Microsoft used during the development of the successor to the Xbox One and the dev kit is the device that developers can use when creating games for the next-gen console. Anaconda is rumored to be the codename of the Xbox Series X, and The Verge points out that the Series X motherboard has an image of an anaconda.

What Lockhart is referring to is not exactly known, but it is rumored to be the codename of a second device in the Xbox Series next-gen consoles. It could then be released as a cheaper version of the Xbox Series X and then without a disc tray. According to The Verge, setting up LockhartProfiling makes the devkit work with 7.5GB of ram, slightly lower clock speeds and about 4 teraflops of GPU performance. Developers would be able to test their games with the lower specs of a second Xbox Series console, the idea seems to be. The Xbox Series X offers 13.5GB of RAM and 12 teraflops of GPU performance.
