World War 3’s $5 Million President Pack Is Pre-ordered

A very rich, or very bluffing, player has reserved the five million dollar ‘President Pack’ in the fps game World War 3. With that purchase, he or she gets his or her own in-game avatar, and a leading role in a World War 3 movie, if it ever gets made.

The pre-order of the package costs ‘only’ 1000 euros, so the player in question did not immediately transfer five million. There are a few things that need to be signed before the remaining amount can be paid, so it is possible that the deal will eventually not go through. The one-of-a-kind President Pack is no longer for sale on the World War 3 site at the time of writing. The Polish developer, The Farm 51, has not yet released anything about the buyer.

In addition to a lot of in-game rewards, such as a large supply of game currency and a lifetime battle pass, the President Pack also contains unique perks. For example, an in-game avatar is created based on the player and a level based on a real-world location of your choice, including the city or village in which the buyer lives. The player will also get a lead role in a film based on the game, although it is not yet known whether that film will ever come. Finally, a unique replica of the Ronin helmet from the game will be sent to the millionaire.

The October 12 Closed Beta Test trailer announced a number of ways to be part of the closed beta, which is set to begin at the end of November. The President Pack was one of the so-called CBT packs that could be purchased to gain access, and at $5 million by far the most expensive. The cheapest pack to participate in the closed beta costs $15.

The fps came out as Early Access in 2018, but was poorly received by players. The Farm 51 then decided to remove the game from Steam last year to completely overhaul the game. The upcoming closed beta will see if that is paying off a bit. The game should be playable again for everyone in the spring of 2022.
