Video shows details HTC Sense 6 interface

A video that has appeared online shows features and appearance of the HTC Sense 6 interface. HTC will probably announce the new version of Sense next week, along with the successor to the HTC One.

The video shows, among other things, Motion Launch, a way to start various functions when the phone is locked. A swipe up on the still disabled screen unlocks the phone, but a swipe to the right opens, for example, the homescreen interface Blinkfeed. The phone presumably turns on the touch layer of the screen in response to input from the motion sensor; the explanation indicates that the user must lift the device to use the function.

The interface itself shows few changes. There seem to be new color accents in the interface, but that could also be a theme. The folders also seem to have disappeared from the main menu, while they are present with Sense 5. The interface is not only labeled as Sense 6.0 in the settings menu, but also as SixthSense.

HTC will present its new One smartphone next Tuesday. The phone was featured in a video a few weeks ago.
