Paradox Interactive re-announces Vampire: The Masquerade 2 – Bloodlines 2. The game is now being developed by The Chinese Room, creators of Everybody’s Gone to the Rapture and Amnesia: A Machine for Pigs. The game will be released in the fall of 2024.

Paradox Interactive confirmed at PAX West 2023 that Bloodlines 2 is in the works. That publisher shared, among other things, a new teaser trailer, which reveals that the game will release next year for PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X and S. The title tells “a vampire story set in modern Seattle.” The Chinese Room will share the first gameplay footage of Bloodlines 2 in January.

Bloodlines 2 was already announced in 2019. It is a sequel to Vampire: The Masquerade – Bloodlines from 2004. The second part in the series was initially made by developer Hardsuit Labs. The game was supposed to be released in the first quarter of 2020, but development issues arose. The game has changed developers and is now scheduled for the fall of 2024. A more concrete release date has not yet been announced.
