Blue’s News reports that Watch Dogs: Legion players are getting invitations to the technical test of the game’s multiplayer mode. The game itself was released in October of last year, but the developers needed more time for the online mode.

The Blue’s News tipster states that the invitation for the technical test is accompanied by a non-disclosure agreement, which means that he must tip the site anonymously. He goes on to say that there are still some connection problems, but that is to be expected with a test version. It is not known how many people are admitted to this test version.

Watch Dogs: Legion was released on October 29 for Windows, Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and Stadia. The new generation of consoles followed shortly after. Initially, publisher Ubisoft’s plan was to add the multiplayer mode in early December, but that didn’t work out. The creator first decided to fix bugs in the single player mode, which put the multiplayer on the long track. The only indication of release at the time was ‘early 2021’.

Ultimately, this third-person shooter will get co-op content, as well as pvp content for teams of up to eight people. With this, the multipayer of Watch Dogs: Legion promises to be more extensive than that of its predecessors.
