Ubisoft is making an open beta available ahead of the release of pirate game Skull and Bones. This can be played from February 8 to February 12. The game itself will be released on February 16 for PC, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S.

The developer reports that the open beta can be installed from February 6. The progress the player makes in this will be transferable to the full game when it is released. In the closed beta, players could explore the coast of Africa. This will be reflected in the open beta, which will also include the East Indies. Players who participate in the beta will receive a few items as a reward, including a cannon, an emote, and some cosmetics for their ship.

Furthermore, Ubisoft has shared the minimum system requirements of Skull and Bones for PC. At least 65GB of available storage space is required.

Skull and Bones is released on February 16th. It was originally announced at E3 in 2017 and was delayed again and again in the following years.
