Ubisoft announced Far Cry 6 and simultaneously released two cinematic trailers for the game. Giancarlo Esposito can be seen in it, the actor who is known from Breaking Bad and The Mandalorian, among other things.

Esposito plays a dictator from the fictional island of Yara. The trailer shows him handing his son Diego a hand grenade and pulling the pin out, warning that he will be hated by the people as his successor. Those people have revolted in the island’s capital, Esperanza.

In the game, players take on the role of Dani Rojas, who can be played as male or female and who uses guerrilla tactics to try to overthrow the dictator. Gameplay footage has not yet been published by Ubisoft. A second cinematic trailer did appear, but little details about the game can be extracted from it.

Far Cry 6 will be released February 18 next year for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Stadia, Windows, Xbox One and Xbox Series X.
