Tim Cook, Phil Schiller and several other Apple executives will testify in the company’s lawsuit against Qualcomm next month. Qualcomm director Steve Mollenkopf will also appear as a witness in the lawsuit.

The lawsuit begins on April 15, Bloomberg reports. The financial news agency says top executives from several other companies are also expected to testify, including people from Samsung and Foxconn.

The case concerns the charges brought by Apple and Qualcomm against each other. The conflict started in early 2017, when Apple sued Qualcomm for allegedly charging the chip designer too much to license the necessary technology. In the context of this royalty dispute, Apple wants a number of patents invalidated and is demanding that Qualcomm pay back a billion dollars. An American judge agreed.

Qualcomm sued Apple for alleged breach of contract with regard to software licenses. As a result, Apple would have favored Intel with the supply of modems for mobile internet. Since the legal battle is underway, Apple has stopped integrating Qualcomm modems into iPhones. Instead, it uses competitor Intel’s baseband processors. In Germany, that has been reversed after a sales ban of the Intel variants in Germany.
